We should've listened
We should've heeded
He wasn't who we thought we wanted
Now we're being killed and haunted
Like cattle we're taken to prison camps
Some of them aren't even on world maps
Lying, we're led to the chambers
Saying: 'You'll be cleaned after the showers"
As time passed, we thought things changed
The people responsible, dead, killed, or hanged
Now its to a new target, lives are lost
A new genocide, a modern holocaust
When will you learn from our past mistakes?
Or does it matter how many times it takes?
Every life matters regardless of the age
No single story could just fill a page
The world today hasn't changed all that much
Even thought we'd like to think as such
Since we know Hitler killed six million Jews
Which infant today, will hit world news?
